Escaping from the Amey PFI maze

A meeting about the £2.2B Amey PFI contract with the Council to repair Sheffield roads and cut down thousands of trees. Dexter Whitfield of European Services Strategy Organisation, a leading activist campaigner and researcher on privatisation and the negative effects of PFI contracts, will be speaking.This is a participatory event, open to all, explaining how PFI works and how contracts can be challenged. Free admission (donations welcome).Note: organised by Alan Story/No Stump City, which is a small group (no known website) for independent action to save Sheffield street trees.
