Spirit of Africa Festival

Fri 26 & Sat 27 Oct 2018, 10am-10.30pm, various venues

Utopia Theatre and Sheffield Theatres present a two-day festival celebrating Africa and the African diaspora (including local artists). It covers traditional and contemporary music, theatre, film, fashion, visual arts, dance, poets, thinkers, and education workshops, with networking and food and drinks.

All ages are welcome. All events and workshops during the festival are free, except for acts on the Crucible Stage.

People and families migrated to the UK share their stories in a friendly group, hosted by Vibha Shanbhag and Madhu Davda.
